Calling all kids! The St. John’s Music Academy (K-5) and the St. John’s Singers (grades 6-12) are getting ready to launch their new year. Do you have children/teens or grandchildren interested in music? Here’s more information on both programs – register now for this great year-round program of learning, creativity and singing in worship.
The St. John’s Music Academy is for children in grades K-5 and meets on Wednesdays afternoons, 4:30-5:45. A valuable part of children’s Christian education, participants receive vocal/choral training, liturgical training, music theory, and creative experience with instruments and movement. Music is presented regularly during worship. Registration link is HERE.
St. John’s Singers, for grades 6-12, gives youth a chance to explore their heritage while studying and performing a variety of musical styles, and it provides a great opportunity to learn about and serve God and the church. Rehearsals are held from 3:30 until 4:45 on Sunday afternoons. A commitment to regular attendance is necessary. Registration link is HERE.
